Home Stretch

This week marks the home stretch for me in so many different ways. First off it is FINALLY the week before April vacation. Because of how the first of April fell we had to do a 8 week stretch between February and April vacation, instead of the traditional 7 weeks. I am glad that I had a conversation about this last week with a fellow math teacher so that he could explain to me why it seemed so much longer than normally. The second home stretch that I am on is in regards to my masters degree program. Only a few more tasks to check off on the shrinking to-do list and I will be able to mail my portfolio off to my professor to get graded. If all goes well I will have my masters degree in middle school mathematics in a few more weeks (yes people really do want to study this!) This might help explain to all of my regular readers why I have been a little sparse with postings lately, too many hours logged typing rational statements and finding student work samples.
