Wii Fit And EBay!
The Music Man and I expereinced Wii Fit for the first time while we were in Humarock. Since then we have been discussing and plotting how we were going to obtain the hard to find workout videogame. After a few searches of the nearby Wal-Marts and some online shopping I decided to bite the bullett and try my luck with eBay. 9 minutes and 37 long seconds later I was the lucky winner of one brand new still in the box Wii Fit. It should be arriving at the Shamrock sometime around the weekend, photos to follow. Enjoy ~SJ

Sailing!
The Music Man talked all spring long about me teaching him how to sail. He looks through Uncle Henry's every week looking for his own boat. Yesterday I decided to take him out so that he could "learn the ropes" on my little Sunfish. He is learning quickly, and by the end of the summer I think that we will both be looking for a second sailboat for the Shamrock.Enjoy ~SJ

Three Of A Kind
I just had three unsuspected visitors at The Shamrock. I was out on the rocking porch getting it ready for the summer season, and I noticed out of the corner of my eye three dogs coming down the road. Now you have to understand that where I live, and it not being the summer season yet, if anything comes down the road after 5 pm it means excitement, never mind three of something! I recognized these three dogs from my summer days of riding my bike around the pond, they are three friendly labs who were far from home. I got the Music Man to come out and watch them while I went inside to try to get their owner on the phone. After calling what seemed to be half of the pond, I got a hold of the trios owner, a slightly worried owner at that. I went back outside, and the Music Man and I played stick with our three new friends while waiting for the owner. We managed to keep them amused until their owner came along to whisk them back home. I'm sure that those three had a wild adventure and will sleep well tonight. This only plants to seed deeper into my head, I need to find a dog to play stick with all of the time.

Well blogthings.com is full of all sorts of stupid quizzes that can tell you more about yourself than you needed to know. I recently stumbled up the Shamrock Personality Quiz - why not give it a try?
Give it a try, I know you have always been wondering what your shamrock choice says about you.

Top o' the mornin'!
Many of you know that the name of my house is the Shamrock. It is a sign that has been in the family for many generations (I think I am the forth to own it). The sign has been moved to each of our camps or homes that were on Worthley Pond. My house is the first time it has lived on someones year round home, and this year I am proudly displaying my Leprechaun flag (please ignore the dieing Christmas decorations on the porch, it has been a long and cold winter). Although I just found out the St. Patrick's day was officially Saturday, due to the fact that it fell during the same time as Holy Week (see more info below), I am still going to wear my green and shamrocks proudly today, and finish off dinner with a beer. Well I think that good ol' wikipidia sums up the holiday festivities well with the following summary: "Celebrations
- Attending Mass
- Parades
- Wearing shamrocks
- Wearing green
- Drinking alcohol"
