Blog Surprise Party!

Ok, so maybe the title should read "Happy Birthday My Dear Blog"! You guessed it, today is my blogs birthday, that means that if you have been following me since the beginning I have been tormenting you for a year now, how quickly the time passes. Blogging quickly became a great new pastime for me, I am now constantly plauged with the thought "Would that make a good blog topic?" I managed to reach my personal goal of over 365 blogs, that means that you have been blessed with one new blog from SJ every day. I have blogged about everything from cats, to Mother Nature, to Easter candy, to my feet. I have brought you pictures from my world, and books that I have read. I have even coined a new phrase that has now become common lingo among some people in my ciricle - the Corner Store is refered to as D.U. (pronounced "DU"), sorry Chip if you head this. This has caused some confusion among people who don't know my little nickname and have no clue what store in Dixfield I am talking about. All in all I would have to say that my blog has lived up to everything that I thought it would, especially since I didn't think that it would last this long. Here's to you blog, I look forward to another exciting year of the unknown!

The Mother Goes Techy!

As The Music Man put it "the end of the world is near...." My Mother started a blog (without my help might I add). VERY impressive! You have to understand that My Mother is not technology challenged, since she is retired she is just hasn't been immersed in it as much as others are. Well Mom, you have blown SJ away with your creation of your own blog. I know that you will enjoy blogging once you get started (and you already have the hard part all done). I know that you will keep us all in stitches with your witty postings, oh please do the "blingo" blog post soon!

Google Reader Overload!

I really enjoy blogging, and in turn I enjoy reading and commenting on other blogs. I read a large variety of blogs, everything from people I know in real life, people I only know through their blog, as well as technology education blogs. The volume of blogs to read on a daily basis is starting to get overwhelming., to the point that it is cutting into my time to blog. Going away and playing over the weekend was great for me, but not so good for my Google Reader.

Early Arrival

So the Easter Bunny visited my house a little early. I must admit that I think that the Easter Bunny is slacking a little this year since he has taken to using the US Postal service, but then again I can't complain too much since he did remember me. My Easter package included many of my favorites, and I am almost convinced that the Easter Bunny must read my blog, since he included gourmet popping corn, my favorite mint candies, and some very exciting hard cherry candies, along with a small stuffed bunny. Then again, I don't think that the Easter Bunny is reading my blog since the package did not included peeps, and didn't I specifically request those a few blogs ago?

Oh well, can't complain too much, Easter baskets and packages are alway exciting to receive. So thank you Easter Bunny for my early spring presents!
