In this critical time

Indexed has been a favorite blog of mine to read for awhile now.  I think it is because they play to my inner scientist/mathematician.  Here is a timely one that I just had to share.

Just Too Funny!

On my list of SJ facts that I have not shared yet is that I am a fan of the HBO show Sex and the City. When Indexed came out with this new chart today:

I added Indexed to my Google Reader about a year ago after Rach pointed me in that direction. The science/math geek in me just loves the almost daily index card chart outlining some phenomena. If Indexed isn't in your Google Reader I suggest you add it now.

Scary But True

Indexed just posted this great new card and I thought that I just had to share. It seemed a little too real to me since this is the first week of school, field hockey, of and those pesky doctoral classes.

Not So Popular

I just discovered that in Google Reader you can see how many people have subscribed to the blogs that you subscribe to. You can also use this handy tool to find out how popular you are if you subscribe to your own blog (like yours truly). Here is a little run down of some of the blogs that I subscribe to:

Cool Cat Teacher: 1,205 subscribers
Pooch Cafe: 35 subscribers
Indexed: 10,615 subscribers
SJ's Beat: 4 subscribers (one being me!)

Great Tip!

After my "It's A Sad Day" blog the River Valley Bloggers have left me some great advise. Of course all of this advice is for before the hard drive crashes! Rach pointed me towards a pretty fun new blog called Indexed that I added to my Google Reader. Thought I would share the fitting Venn Diagram from it.
